WHAT IS THE MICROANGELO?

FILTRATION PUMP

This attachment was originally designed to work with the ProActive Typhoon pump. The detachable pump attachment piece is easily customised to fit any pumps you may be using. Currently, the Rule IL280P Inline and Submersible pump is used concurrently with the MicroANGELO.

WHAT IT IS FOR

This floating device was designed to filter the surface layer of any body of water, particularly for the study of microplastics and microbes in the sea surface layer (top 1cm) and in the sea surface microlayer (top 1mm).

The compact device is meant to be printed using a 3D printer and quickly & easily assembled in the field, making it an affordable and accessible option for surface water studies, anywhere in the world.
